Stop! There, that got your attention. Before you eat that entire sleeve of Thin Mints, I have something for you to consider. Wouldn’t it be nice to incorporate some of those Thin Mints into a nice, frosty confection? If you said yes (and I’m pretty sure you did), then you need to try these creamy, refreshing Thin Mint Milkshakes.
The best part about these Thin Mint Milkshakes is that you’re transforming a simple Girl Scout cookie into something that’s going to make you a rock star with your kids, or whoever you make these for. 🙂 Just grab some plain old vanilla ice cream, some milk, a blender, and toss in some Thin Mints.
Give it a nice whir, and you have one delectable dessert. I used Dreyer’s Slow Churned Classic Vanilla ice cream, which is half the fat. Much better than that entire sleeve of Thin Mints! This dessert was ready in minutes, plus I had rock star status. You can’t say that every day. 😉
- 2 cups classic vanilla ice cream (I used Dreyer's Slow Churned)
- 1 cup milk (I used non-fat)
- 6 Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies, broken up a bit, plus more for garnish
- Place all ingredients into a blender, and give it a whir until the ingredients are nice and incorporated. Serve immediately!
