Want to get away?  Meaning on a tropical vacation with the sand in your toes and the ocean breeze whipping through your hair?

I sure do because we just moved for the second time in a year! Unfortunately a vacation just isn’t in the cards right now…the closest I’m getting to the tropics is through my taste buds!

My fresh pineapple piña colada and tropical fruit salad definitely do the job, but it doesn’t get easier than this Tropical Smoothie recipe!

It’s packed with tropical fruit, creamy coconut milk and a squeeze of key lime for all the island vibes.

Like my pear and banana smoothie recipes, it also includes Greek yogurt, which makes it a good source of protein.

A little warm weather and a few sips of this smoothie are sure to take me away. 🙂

  • Tropical fruit. This smoothie includes a combination of pineapple, mango and banana, but these fruits may be substituted with papaya, guava, passion fruit, lychee or whatever you have on hand. I’ve used frozen fruit, so if you use fresh be sure to add some ice for a thick, creamy texture.
  • Coconut milk. Refrigerated or canned coconut milk may be used, or substitute with your favorite.
  • Greek yogurt. The Greek yogurt gives this tropical smoothie a protein boost, but it may be substituted with whatever type of yogurt you have on hand.
  • Lime juice. Fresh lime juice makes the flavors come alive. It may be subbed with orange, lemon or key lime juice as well.
