Pink Lady Applesauce

Pink Lady applesauce is fresh, tart, and sweet with a the warmth of cinnamon. Serve warm with pork chops or eat chilled for a snack.
Serves: 4 servings
  • 4 cups chopped Pink Lady apples (peeled and cored)
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  1. Place all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, and reduce heat slightly. Cover and cook 30 minutes, or until the apples are very soft. Mash with a potato masher or the back of a spoon until the apple sauce is the consistency you desire. Serve and enjoy!
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
