Healthy Seasonal Meal Plan Week 25
This has been one of strangest weeks ever. All of the fires burning wildly here in California has resulted in the poorest air quality. There’s so much ash and smoke in the sky that we have been staying indoors and keeping the windows closed. Our kids have missed school for a few days this week, and outdoor sports/practices have been cancelled.
All of this said, I’m well aware that it’s affect on us has been minimal compared to what others have been going through. So many have lost their homes, entire neighborhoods, and even loved ones. My heart is heavy this week and I’m not sure when things will feel remotely normal.
I don’t suppose it’s a coincidence that I’ve included so many comforting dishes into this week’s meal plan, because we can use all the comfort that we can get! These meals are also great for Game Day, making them a huge win-win. 🙂

I’m so sorry to hear of the fires in California, Marcie! We had some fires in the province next door this summer and it is really hard on the heart, hearing of people losing their homes and feeling the effects of the air quality! Some comforting dishes will certainly help! Great roundup 🙂
It IS hard on the heart and the air has just been depressing too. Thanks and I hope you had a great weekend!
Love the suggestions from this week’s meal plan. Definitely going to try the tortilla pie. Pinning!
That tortilla pie has my name all over it!
