If you like piña coladas….getting caught in the rain….:)

That song has been in my head since I made this piña colada smoothie a few days ago.  And is it just me, or does that song always remind you of the movie Grown Ups?

Oh how I love that movie.

When I was making this smoothie, my son saw it on the counter and asked if he could have it.  I told him he could have it, then he asked if there was alcohol in it.  I said of course not if I said you could have it!

Sometimes I just don’t know. 🙂

I do love piña colada flavors, whether it’s an alcoholic version or not.  See my fresh pineapple piña colada, piña colada overnight oats, and these piña colada popsicles if you love them too!

The cocktails are loaded with calories and sugar, so it’s nice to enjoy these flavors in a healthier way.  This smoothie recipe is from The Protein Smoothie Bible by Erin Indahl-Fink.

If you love smoothies, this book is for you. 🙂
