You love fruit don’t you?  You must!  Especially in the summer when there’s such an abundance of fruit at its peak of sweetness and flavor.  I go to the farmer’s markets and I can’t decide which varieties to buy, and normally end up with about 7 different kinds.   Strawberries, peaches, nectarines, blueberries, cherries — so many varieties, so little time! It’s all good, because my family loves it all and goes through every last bit in no time flat. 🙂

Sure, fresh fruit is and forever will be delicious on its own, but when I make treats made from fresh fruit, my family really gets excited.  Smoothies, short cakes, pies, crisps, ice cream toppings — they’re all welcome here.  The fruitier the better!

With the summer heat, there’s no better way to cool off than with a frozen treat.  As much as I love making my own, there isn’t always time.  One day I was looking for just such a treat in the freezer section of my supermarket, and Fruttare Frozen Fruit Bars caught my eye immediately.

Isn’t the packaging so eye-catching and fun?  I thought so. 🙂

I always look for treats that contain real fruit, so after reading the label, I knew Fruttare was just what I was looking for.  Fruttare Frozen Fruit Bars are a delicious line of frozen fruit bars made with real fruit that you can taste — especially because there are chunks of real fruit in each bar!

Not only that…the fruit is great-tasting and comes from places we know and trust.  Fruttare sources sustainably farmed strawberries, coconuts, bananas, and limes.

The decision for me to purchase Fruttare fruit bars was an easy one, but just like my trips to the farmer’s markets, figuring out which variety to purchase was the hardest part for me.  Fruttare fruit bars come in strawberry, mango, coconut and milk, black cherry, banana and milk, pineapple, strawberry and milk, and lime.

Decisions, decisions. 🙂

Obviously I chose mango for this post, but I’ve tried several other varieties and they’re delicious as well.  Mango is one of my family’s favorite fruits, and these Fruttare fruit bars taste like a mango on a stick.  Cutting mangos can be a sticky job, too, so these fruit bars are a great way to enjoy mango the easy way and beat the heat.  That my friends, is a huge win-win. 🙂

Fruttare frozen fruit bars are refreshing, delicious, and are a treat made with real fruit that you can feel good about feeding your family.  I know I do…now if only I could decide on which flavor to buy next. 😉
