Ingredients

  • 5 ounces baby lettuce or spring mix
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/3 cup toasted walnut pieces*
  • Balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Instructions

  • Place all salad ingredients into a large bowl.
  • Toss gently with the desired amount of balsamic vinaigrette dressing and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • *I love purchasing pre-toasted nuts as a time saver. To toast your own, place walnuts on a rimmed baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until fragrant. May be made in advance!  If you're not a fan of walnuts, almonds or pecans would be great substitutes.
  • This strawberry salad recipe is best made just before serving to avoid wilting.  You can definitely prep all of your ingredients in advance so that you can simply toss everything together in minutes.
  • Feta cheese may be substituted with goat cheese, bleu cheese or gorgonzola cheese.
  • Any type of greens will work in this salad -- use whatever you have on hand!
