This Honey Mustard Dressing Recipe is sweet and tangy with freshness you can taste! It will take your salads to the next level and it comes together in 5 minutes!
1 1/2tablespoonscoarse ground mustardsub with dijon mustard
1 1/2tablespoonshoneypreferably local; sub with maple syrup to make it vegan
1teaspoonfresh lemon juice
1/2teaspoonsaltor to taste
1/4teaspoonfreshly ground black pepperor to taste
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a small to medium-sized jar or container.
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 1 1/2 tablespoons coarse ground mustard, 1 1/2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Secure with a lid and shake vigorously until emulsified. Remove the lid, taste, and adjust the seasoning as necessary. Enjoy!
Notes
Pro tip: Use a good quality coarse ground or dijon mustard. I recommend tasting the mustard before using it...if it has a very strong flavor start with 1 tablespoon and add more as needed.
The dressing will solidify once it's refrigerated. When you're ready to use it, let it stand for 5-10 minutes at room temperature then shake vigorously to emulsify.
Store honey mustard dressing in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
