Spicy Maple Rosemary Roasted Nuts

Spicy Maple Rosemary Roasted Nuts are a delicious, easy appetizer for entertaining and are perfect for homemade gifts.  They're absolutely addicting!

  • 1.5 cups pecans
  • 1.5 cups almonds
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon teaspoon cayenne pepper* use up to 1 teaspoon for more spice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh rosemary finely chopped (or about 3 teaspoons dried), divided
  • flaky sea salt for sprinkling


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the nuts on a large rimmed baking sheet.
  • Combine the melted butter with the maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and 1 tablespoon of the rosemary. Pour the mixture over the nuts and toss to coat them evenly.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes, then toss once more. Bake for 5-10 minutes longer, or until the nuts are golden brown and fragrant.
  • Remove from heat and immediately toss with the additional 1/2 teaspoon rosemary and flaky sea salt, to taste.
  • Allow the nuts to come to room temperature and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
