air fryer brussels sprouts in white bowl with lemon slices and spoon

Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts

Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts are amazingly crispy brussels sprouts made with minimal oil, and tossed in lemon and parmesan.  They're a healthy appetizer or side that's ready in about 20 minutes!

  • 1 lb. brussels sprouts trimmed, outer leaves removed and halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

  • Toss the brussels sprouts with olive oil, lemon juice and salt and pepper, to taste in a medium bowl until well coated.
  • Place the brussels sprouts in the basket of an air fryer on top of the crisper plate (I use this Ninja Air Fryer). Turn on the air fryer and select 390 degrees and set for 15 minutes. Press the Start button and pause 2-3 times during the cooking time to shake the brussels sprouts for more even cooking.
  • After cooking, toss the crispy brussels sprouts with the parmesan cheese and serve immediately. Enjoy!

  • My brussels sprouts were perfectly charred and crispy after 15 minutes, but all air fryers vary. Begin checking for doneness around 10 minutes and continue cooking accordingly until the brussels sprouts have desired level of crispness.
  • This recipe is easy doubled, but I recommend cooking in (2) separate batches.
  • Omit the parmesan cheese to make this recipe vegan and dairy free. Toss with nutritional yeast if desired.
  • Store leftover brussels sprouts in an air tight container for up to 3 days. They will soften once they're stored.
