  • 4 very large blackberries or 8 smaller ones plus more for garnish
  • 1 sprig mint plus more for garnish
  • 6 ounces ginger beer
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 - 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lime juice
  • Lime for garnish

  • Place a copper mug or glass in the freezer until frosty.
  • In another glass, muddle the blackberries with a small sprig of mint. Add the ginger beer, vodka, and lime juice.
  • Fill your frosty mug or glass with ice or one large slow melting ice cube, and strain the liquid into the mug. Garish with more blackberries, mint, and lime, and enjoy!

  • This cocktail is best when it's icy cold!
  • You can customize this cocktail to your liking by adding more or less alcohol, or more or ginger beer and blackberries!
  • I love the pronounced lime flavor, so I used 1 1/2 tablespoons in my cocktail.
