Honey Thyme Whipped Goat Cheese and Fig Bites

Honey Thyme Whipped Goat Cheese and Fig Bites are an elegant 5-ingredient appetizer that are perfect for entertaining!

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces goat cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon honey plus more for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme plus fresh thyme leaves for garnish
  • pinch salt
  • 16 fresh figs each sliced in 4 slices or quartered
  • 32 Breton crackers

Instructions 

  • Place the softened goat cheese and cream cheese in a medium bowl and whip until light.  Add the honey, chopped thyme, and pinch of salt, and beat until combined.
  • Just before serving, spread each cracker with a half tablespoon of the whipped goat cheese and top with half a fig.
  • Garnish with thyme leaves and a drizzle of honey and serve immediately.  Enjoy!

Notes

  • The whipped goat cheese may be made in advance.
  • Do not assemble the bites more than a couple of minutes in advance as the crackers will become soft.
