Upgrade your next salad with fresh, zesty Homemade Italian Dressing! This flavorful salad dressing includes just a few ingredients and just 5 minutes to make!
Place all ingredients in a mason jar and seal tightly with a lid. Shake vigorously until emulsified.
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 1 teaspoon dijon mustard, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, salt and freshly ground black pepper
Toss with your salad or pasta salad and enjoy!
Notes
Add 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast for extra umami flavor!
Dressing will keep in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
The dressing will solidify when chilled. Once chilled, set the dressing out at room temperature for 10-15 minutes and whisk or shake vigorously before using.
Fresh herbs may be used in place of the dried herbs if you have them on hand.
