Air fryer hard boiled eggs are an easy, hands-off way to cook eggs without boiling water. Simply cook at 250°F for about 15 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath for perfectly cooked eggs that peel easily.
Place the eggs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 14–17 minutes depending on your desired doneness (see note 1 below).
6 large eggs
Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let cool for 5–10 minutes.
Peel and serve, or store in the refrigerator for later use. Enjoy!
Notes
Pro tip: Cook times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model. For best results, test with 1–2 eggs the first time and cook for 15 minutes. This will help you determine the ideal timing for your specific air fryer.
Cook time guide: Soft boiled: 9–11 minutes; Jammy: 12–13 minutes; Hard boiled: 14–17 minutes.
For best peeling, use eggs that are 1–2 weeks old and transfer them to an ice bath immediately after cooking.
Store unpeeled eggs in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
This recipe can be scaled to cook as many eggs as will fit in a single layer in your air fryer.
