Instructions
Place the Greek yogurt, buttermilk, lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, dried dill, dried parsley, dried chives, salt and pepper into a medium bowl and whisk to combine. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more buttermilk to thin the dressing as desired.
Pro Tip: For the best flavor, make the ranch at least 1–2 hours ahead (or even the night before). This gives the dried herbs time to rehydrate and the flavors to meld, resulting in a creamier, more flavorful dressing.
Use whole milk plain Greek yogurt for the richest texture and flavor. Use low fat as desired.
Start with 3 tablespoons buttermilk for a thicker dip and add up to 3 tablespoons more to achieve the appropriate drizzling consistency for salads.
Dried herbs give this Greek yogurt ranch the classic ranch flavor. The dried herbs have a more concentrated flavor than fresh, and infuse the dressing with flavor the longer it sits in the fridge.
