Juicy Air Fryer Hamburgers
It doesn’t get better than a juicy burger, and these Air Fryer Hamburgers make them even easier to make! They’re crisp, juicy and ready in about 10 minutes, and there’s no need to tend the grill or clean up a messy stove top!

Burgers are almost always in the weekly dinner rotation here. I like to change things up with turkey and chicken burgers, but my family’s favorite is the all American hamburger.
My grilled burgers have been a family favorite for years, but sometimes it gets really hot outside and I can’t fathom firing up the grill.
A while back I had the idea to try making hamburgers in the air fryer, and obviously it was a success!
I had my doubts about the outcome of these Air Fryer Hamburgers, because I wasn’t sure that they would be juicy and have the crisp crust that I love.
I should’ve known better, because all of my previous air fryer recipes have produced stellar results. This recipe is no different!

Why you’ll love this recipe:
- Air fryer hamburgers are crisp, juicy and flavorful, and ready in about 10 minutes.
- This is the easiest way to prepare hamburgers — there’s no need to tend the grill and there are no messy countertops to clean.
- Burgers may be enjoyed traditionally on buns with your favorite condiments or as a lettuce wraps for a low carb option.
Recipe ingredients
All you really need to make hamburgers in the air fryer is ground beef and good old salt and pepper. Everything else is completely optional!
Ingredient notes
- Ground beef. For best results, use grass fed beef as it has more flavor and it’s a sustainable choice. I used 85% lean and the hamburgers were still completely juicy and delicious. Frozen burgers may be used as well — simply cook through to an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
- Seasoning. Grass fed beef has amazing flavor, so I simply seasoned the hamburgers with sea salt and pepper. You can change things up by using your favorite herbs or seasonings.
- Condiments. These burgers are crafted with brioche buns with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles and red onion, which is how I enjoy them a lot of the time. The ingredients listed are simply suggestions, and you can certainly use your favorite condiments, buns or opt for lettuce wraps to make them gluten-free or low carb.
