Corn is one of my favorite summer ingredients hands down. In the past I’ve made grilled corn on the cob every week during the summer to either eat as-is or use in recipes like my Mexican corn salad, but now I’ve found an even easier way to prepare it.
This Air Fryer Corn on the Cob is nothing short of a revelation. The first time I tried it I felt like I hit the jackpot — the corn was ready in a fraction of the time and it was perfectly tender and crisp.
The air fryer has made my life so much easier, especially in the summer. It allows me to cook some of my favorite things like air fryer salmon and air fryer brussels sprouts without firing up a hot pan, oven or grill.

FAQs
The healthiest ways to cook corn on the cob are boiling, air frying and grilling corn in the husk as no added fat is needed for plump, tender corn. That said, air frying is my method of choice as there’s no water to boil or a hot grill to deal with.
Corn on the cob is done when the kernels appear plump and tender, and the color is a more intense yellow. If the kernels are shriveled and dry looking, the corn has been overcooked.
Frozen corn on the cob may be used in the air fryer, but if it will take about 2 minutes longer to cook than fresh corn.
