Antipasto skewers ingredients

Ingredient notes

  • Meat. These skewers include a combination of salami and prosciutto, but you can change things up with pepperoni, sopressata, or any type of cured meat. If your meat is in a large size, be sure to cut it into bite size pieces that are easy to skewer.
  • Mozzarella balls. Sub with your favorite cheese or use marinated mozzarella balls to pump up the flavor.
  • Cherry tomatoes. Sub with sun dried tomatoes or roasted cherry tomatoes.
  • Artichoke hearts. Sub with your favorite fresh or marinated veggies.
  • Olives. I’ve used Castelvetrano olives, but any variety of olives will work.
  • Basil. Fresh basil really makes these Italian antipasto skewers shine. If it’s not in season, serve with your favorite chopped fresh herbs or a drizzle of your favorite pesto sauce.
  • Dressing. My homemade Italian dressing is zesty and flavorful, so it’s perfect for this recipe. It can be subbed with my balsamic vinaigrette dressing or your favorite store bought brand.
